Noneconomic Damage Limitation (Medical Malpractice)

Pursuant to Section 15-32-220(F) the limit on civil liability for noneconomic damages on a medical malpractice claim is adjusted each year based on inflation. The letters below provide the annual adjustments provided for publication in the State Register.

Punitive Damage Limitation

Pursuant to Section 15-32-530(D), the limit on punitive damage awards is adjusted annually based upon inflation.
