Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Releases 2025 Update to Education Funding Dashboard

COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office (RFA) has released an update to the Education Funding Dashboard on its website, which can be found at https://rfa.sc.gov/education-funding-dashboard.

The dashboard allows users to conduct longitudinal analysis on revenues, expenditures, academic achievement, and other data by school district. It summarizes financial and other data for K-12 education to inform the public and provide transparency on school district finances in South Carolina. The dashboard includes charts and graphs that allow users to analyze and compare data by district. The data are also available for users to download.

The 2025 update includes:

• Added FY 2023-24 financial data (revenues, expenditures, teacher data, average daily membership, etc.)
• Added FY 2024-25 Aid to Classrooms data
• Consolidated all data for Barnwell 45 and Barnwell 48 into Barnwell School District

All financial data used in the dashboard are provided by the local school districts to the SC Department of Education. Questions about the financial data should be directed to the individual school district.
